
Intel will produce new processor with 6 core, Core i9 Gulftown . Gulftown will prodece with 32 nm Westmere architecture. Gulftown is based on LGA 1366 socket, same like core i7. Core i9 featuring 6 cores and 12 threads with HyperThreading enabled, it holds 12 MB of L3 cache to support the additional data load over the QuickPath Interconnect. Gulftown should be implemented in a commercial product in Q1 2010 and the target is the premium enthusiast market
