First Look: Gigabyte Motherboar For New Intel Core i5
As we know, intel has announced new processor from intel, Core i5 and core i3. Core i5 and core i3 will use diferent socket. Intel Core i5 will come with Socket LGA 1156.
To facilitate the new Core i5 processors, Intel has been working on the P55 chipset. P55 supports both Lynnfield 45nm Nehalem family based quad-cores and IGP dual-core Nehalem codenamed based Havendale processors. This chipset will replace P45. It looks that Lynnfield (Core i5) will launch in late Q3 2009 or early Q4 2009
By the way, Gigabyte already have been preparing new mainboards for the new processors. So, be ready for first look of new Intel P55 Chipset motherboard from Gigabyte. GA-P55-UD5
